Picture Desk

The Picture Desk acts as the hub of the live photo wire service function of the editorial division serving daily newspapers, magazines, broadcast clients, online news sites, and various other clients 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Picture Editors are responsible for receiving, editing, and distributing a constant stream of news, sport, and entertainment content in a time sensitive deadline manner to a global client base and uploading to the editorial website. In addition to possessing a strong understanding of news, sport, and entertainment, the position also requires keen picture judgment, advanced level knowledge and experience with industry standard editing tools, and a keen understanding of editorial integrity issues.
